Dear Jeff,

I am a fellow Cambridge resident and a neighbor from 85 Sherman St. I am also a part of the Richdale Ave Community group on Google Groups.

I'm writing on behalf of our neighbors in the building. Recently they had a theft of two bicycles from their yard on the ground floor. What is particularly disconcerting is that the thief (presumably the same individual) came back for a second bicycle and gained entry despite the access door being locked.

This has been reported to the police, but we also wanted to share it with your group to warn individuals about this occurring in the neighborhood and to learn if anyone else in the area has experienced something similar. Our building is now discussing things we can do to maintain or increase security.
