Hi Margot
We were away when the fire hit our house on Friday, and are still away, returning September 3rd. I wanted to write you to see if you could post a query about renting a house in the neighborhood. The damage is severe so we are likely to need at least a 6 month rental house, probably one with 3-4 bedrooms and furnished.
We've realized how incredibly wonderful our neighborhood is, with neighbors showing up to help in any way they can. And the fire department saved our house, it really was minutes from being completely destroyed. We feel very lucky, knowing that no one was in the house, no neighbor's property was damaged and not firemen were injured. A miracle.
